Inspired by the idea of offering people the kind of authentic and out of the way places I have wandered that I liked to personally enjoy providing great service and developing and offering the local flavor of the place, So thats how I set up the Tiger Fall Resort. So now, we are now ready to take you to remarkable destination to Chhattisgarh, some quietly secluded, others into the tribal belts of India and therefore yet to be discovered.
Our approach to the enterprise is unchanged. To us ‘the wanderers road’ is about going the extra unknown mile, making the effort to reach some of the most interesting and undiscovered places in Chhattisgarh with a passion to invest in small creative enterprises that may take years to become profitable but which offer immediate benefits both to our guest and to the local communities.
The ‘wanderers road’ today symbolizes an alternative attitude and alternative destination, and by choosing to go beyond our comfort zone to unknown paths, we can continue to offer a superior experience to all those who travel and stay with us. I consider myself very fortunate to be born and lived in Mainpat, and now can share my experience and knowledge with you and show you surprising and wonderful land still shrouded in much mystery. This 'Queen of hill' in Chhattisgarh is approximately an hour's drive north-west from Ambikapur, the district capital of Surguja and it falls right in the heart of India’s wildlife-rich plains, surrounded by plenty wildlife sanctuary and parks, with a high chance of spotting the elusive creatures of the wild at Semarsot and Tamor Pingala wildlife Sanctuary including Sanjay National Park at our backdoor and neighbouring famous parks of Bandhavgarh and Kanha wildlife reserve to name a few.
Once daily, you'll hop into a Jeep with your experienced guide and explore the wild beauty of Ramgiri Hills where in the past Lord Ram, Sita and Lakshman wandered and made camp in their 14 years exile that many of these sites are named in their honor which has now become an pilgrimage to the devoted.
This is not only the thing the region can boast off - for in these very hills the famed ‘Meghdoot’ a lyric poem was penned by Kālidāsa, considered to be one of the greatest Sanskrit poets. But what also excitedly lies hidden is also that here in these hills the words of love & romance are believed to be first recorded, carved in stone above the Sita-Bengra caves, that are as known for being the earliest recorded Amphitheater in the world!
So this will be a truly intimate experience with uninterrupted views of the forest, plus drinks on hand to toast the sunrise or sunset.
